The Shipdex™ Protocol Steering Committee (SPSC) is pleased to inform that within next Fall the Shipdex™ Protocol Maintenance Group (SPMG) will be increased by two “Joint Members”.

Joint Members will be elected by, and among Registered Members for the period of two years.

If you are interested to become SPMG Joint Member, please confirm your candidature sending an e-mail to webmanager@shipdex.com not later than 30/09/2009.  

The obligations and rights of SPMG members

• Attend periodical (at present on a quarterly base) SPMG meetings that will be held, in rotation, at SPMG members premises
• Attend periodical (at present on a quarterly base) SPSC meetings (1 day, after SPMG meeting) as Observer
• Contribute to maintain and develop the Shipdex™ Protocol
• Have voting power to approve/reject changes to the Shipdex™ Protocol

Timeline:

• Candidates registration terminates on 30/09/2009
• Poll begins on 01/10/2009   on www.shipdex.com and terminates on 31/10/2009
