SHIPDEX PROTOCOL MAINTENANCE GROUP (SPMG) MEETING

The SPMG met in Cyprus at Mastermind Shipmanagement premises.

The quarterly meeting was attended by the following Shipdex founder members:

• Alfa Laval
• Cargotec
• Grimaldi Group
• MAN Diesel & Turbo
• Mastermind Shipmanagement
• SpecTec Group
• YANMAR

The SPMG approved the new Shipdex 2.1 that will be officialy released within 10 days.
The new Shipdex 2.1 will include some minor technical changes and, most important, it will incorporate the rules to build and to handle the Service Bulletin in Shipdex format.

The Service Bulletin will allow manufacturers to supply customers with standardized electronic information to distribute:

• information to install/remove/replace physical components or to apply a special and/or temporary inspection and/or maintenance tasks to in-service components (parts of a Product)
• modifications to technical information already supplied in Shipdex™ format.
